Staff Affiliate Groups create community by promoting particular interests and overall well-being of UC San Diego staff through events, programs, and collaboration.
AIIFSA proudly welcomes Native American, Alaska Native, and Indigenous staff and faculty at UCSD, along with individuals from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for advocating for and empowering Native American communities both within and beyond the university. As an intertribal organization, AIIFSA unites Native American staff and faculty from various disciplines and areas of campus life.

The Arab American Association is a diverse collection of UC San Diego community members that supports all those who identify as Arab or who are interested in the cultures, language, history, and traditions of Arab peoples, whose geographies historically span Southwest Asia and North Africa (SWANA). Our goal is to uplift the richness of Arab and Arab-American heritage and history through education and celebration.

BSA serves as an advocate for progress through the promotion of critical dialogue, upward mobility, networking, and programs that elevate the rich Black culture of our ancestors. At every opportunity, we uplift and celebrate Black excellence.
C/LSA focuses on providing activities and opportunities to assist in the retention, professional development, and promotion of Chicanx/Latinx staff at UCSD. In addition, C/LSA promotes ties with institutional, local, regional, and national organizations with similar missions to learn from and contribute to the overall advancement of people of color.
The Faculty and Staff Christian Fellowship is an interdenominational group of Christians who support one another with prayer and encouragement, work together to reach out to faculty, staff and students, and discuss issues relevant to living the Christian life in a unique working environment like UC San Diego.
The LGBT Staff and Faculty Association provides opportunities for interaction and coalition building through sponsorship of social events, and fosters communication between staff, administration, students, and faculty on LGBT issues as they relate to staff and faculty concerns.
PASA establishes and strengthens professional and social relationships among Asian staff members, allies, and the campus community, and promotes the general well-being of Asian/Pacific Islander staff at UCSD.
PGCA creates a supportive campus environment for UC San Diego staff, faculty, students and university affiliates who are parents, guardians and/or caregivers.
The Retirement Association provides a variety of educational opportunities, events, and activities for retired staff and faculty to stay connected with the University.
SSN brings awareness, transparency, and collaboration to campus sustainability efforts. They connect staff, students, faculty, alumni and community members with similar eco-passions.
The UJIMA Network, an alliance of black staff, faculty, students, alumni, and community at UC San Diego, endeavors to create a medium which fosters opportunities for African-American staff, faculty, students, alumni, and community members. The UJIMA Network supports all programs and services aimed at advancing the educational, cultural, and professional conditions of African-American individuals internal and external to the campus community.
VSA supports programs and projects that benefit Veterans, Active Military, Retired Military, Reservists, and Military Affiliates at UC San Diego and in the San Diego community.
The Visual Arts Group is dedicated to supporting the creative and artistic abilities of students, staff, faculty, alumni, retirees, and emeriti.

To maintain an officially recognized status as a Staff Association - Affiliate Group, groups are required to submit a signed copy of the UC San Diego Staff Association - Affiliate Group Registration Form annually.
