Biography
Tamika Balderamos (she/her/ella) serves as the Program Manager for the Hope Scholars Program in OASIS and has been with the university for two years. She joined the Staff Association to help strengthen collaboration between the Staff Association and Staff Affiliate groups, ensuring every staff member feels included, supported, and represented.
One of Tamika's favorite places on campus is the Dr. Seuss Collection in Geisel Library. Outside of work, she enjoys unwinding by catching up on great TV shows like House of the Dragon, Severance, and Window's Bay (IYKYK).
Tamika encourages new staff to make the most of their UC San Diego experience by:
“Get out there and make connections across campus—not just within your own unit or division. Community is what you make it, and UC San Diego is a great place to meet people, get involved, and find your community.”
