Biography 

This position is currently vacant. We look forward to welcoming a future Inclusion Chair dedicated to fostering belonging, representation, and community across UC San Diego staff community.

Duties

  1. Champions equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives for the Staff Association.
  2. Maintains active involvement with equity, diversity, and inclusion topics across the campus while incorporating relevant priorities in the UCSD Staff Association. Coordinates quarterly educational speaker(s) or activity(ies) focusing on EDI topics for the Staff Association Executive Board meetings.
  3. Serves as the Staff Association representative on the Advisory Council.
  4. Oversees committee (ad hoc).
  5. Other tasks – voluntary and assigned by Chair.
